Well, day 1 of my training is in the books. And, so far, so good. One thing I think I failed to mention in previous posts is that I am S-L-O-W when I run. Just ask Gayle who tried to ride her bike with me running on previous occasions and almost fell over numerous times. So, one of my goals while running for these next two months is to get faster.
My numbers for today are
Distance: 2 miles
Time: 38 minutes
Pace: 19 min/mile
Yikes! Writing it down just adds to the slowness. Oh well, it’s where I am starting. The blog isn’t called From Fat to Triathlete for nothing. (=
Do you think I should subtract out the time for stopping and cleaning up after Wrigley?
