I am a 40ish year old dabbler in triathlons and running. One thing I do know is that I love them both. I get teased frequently for having pictures of my bike on my phone and showing them to anyone who even pretends to be interested. My goal is to complete an iron distance triathlon. To that end, I will be sharing my training through this blog.
Triathlon is not my only love. My partner and I have 2 dalmatians that are spoiled rotten. They occasionally accompany me on training runs, although they also love stopping to smell (and pee on) the roses. I also love reading and am learning to crochet.
We own a company that makes all natural soaps for dogs and people. Glynne’s Soaps began in October of 2008 after we lost a sweet boy named Franklyn to flea treatment. His liver couldn’t process the poisons and he died. After that, I decided to use my MS in Chemistry to come up with a way to treat fleas that was all natural and safe. And Glynne’s Soaps was born. It has been a very exciting experience.
So, that’s me. I hope you come along with me on my journey from fat to triathlete.
